Prior to Click & Mortar, Ms. Cimino was an Executive, Director of Marketing Strategy and Business Development for “e-business” with IBM.  In this position, Ms. Cimino was responsible for the development of
corporate and business strategies, marketing and brand strategies, and the business strategies for launching a new business and new brand for IBM: “e-business”, a key strategic initiative that led to an increase of almost 100% in IBM's stock price.   E-business was mentioned as one of the best strategies and product line introductions in IBM's history, by Lou Gerstner in his book, and led to IBM turn-around.  Ms. Cimino also had responsibility for new business development, business planning, alliances, market and competitive intelligence, and market research for “e-business” at IBM.  Among her various activities, she led the development of a business strategy and business plan for “e-business” leadership, as well as the assessment of best practices and the identification of opportunities for new products and services in all the e-business areas, which included: customer relationship management, supply chain management, e-commerce, e-procurement, e-collaboration and knowledge management.  She also led the assessment of opportunities for Online Communities and Pervasive Computing, and the development of integrated marketing strategies and programs to build a new contemporary image for IBM through the “e-business” brand. 

Prior to joining IBM, Ms. Cimino was an Executive, Director of Corporate Strategy and Business Development for Galileo, a $1.6 Bil. company that develops and hosts travel reservation systems. She reported to the company's CEO.  Galileo was formed by a Consortium of airlines led by United Airlines.  As part of her activities, Ms Cimino developed a new strategy and planning process for the company, directed a product functionality review to prioritize the development of new features, led a customer satisfaction survey with airlines, hotels and rental car companies, assessed growth opportunities for Galileo's Advertising products and trends in advertising on the Internet.  During the time that Ms. Cimino worked with the company, Galileo successfully filed for an IPO.  Ms. Cimino also worked as the Director of Strategy for Ameritech/AT&T where she led teams in a start-up business, in new business development activities, and in the development of business, marketing and competitive strategies.  She worked with consumer products for people in motion at Ameritech. 

Earlier Ms. Cimino worked as a management consultant with the firm of Booz, Allen & Hamilton in its Strategy and Marketing Practice performing corporate, business and marketing strategy assignments for major companies including Sears/Kenmore, Whirlpool, Matsushita/Panasonic, General Motors, Sara Lee and Amoco Services and Retail.  Her projects had high impact on growth and profitability for these companies.  Ms. Cimino was invited to join Booz, Allen & Hamilton after her MBA. 

Prior to her MBA, Ms. Cimino worked in marketing for more than 5 years.  She held various positions including Marketing Assistant and Marketing Analyst in Product Management, Senior Analyst of Competitors’ Strategies, and Manager of Market Research for New Products with Unilever.  She was also an Intern in Product Management with Johnson & Johnson, assessing opportunities and developing marketing plans for new products.  

Ms. Cimino holds an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University, where she majored in strategy, marketing, economics, organizations and international business, and graduated with distinctions, with a GPA of 3.8/4.0.  She has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with majors in finance and marketing from FGV-SP--Harvard equivalent and the top-ranked undergraduate school in BR--and graduated summa cum laude (highest GPA in her class) 

Ms. Cimino leads TopGradAlumni, an organization of Alumni of the Top Graduate Business Schools, and serves on various Alumni functions with Northwestern University's Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
